The session was considered by all to be a success. While some might be unreasonably fearful of radical change, or villifying the colossal achievements of Gutzon Borglum and the construction crew for Mount Rushmore, Gerard Baker has set a very positive tone and appears to be guiding the park under his care to adopt a position of balanced information with no push toward any single conclusion or interpretation. An education which results in questions and not prefabricated answers is an education which does not stop.
